As a Bookkeeper, your strong attention to detail and customer service skills will enhance collaboration with team members and congregants, contributing to a well-organized financial operation. Responsibilities Record all day-to-day transactions for all our Accounts Receivable in our database system Create bills for membership dues, school tuitions, and fees Generate statements for mailing Set up automatic ACH and credit card payments Post payments and contributions Handle other administrative tasks as needed, such as assisting with student registrations, sending contribution acknowledgements, etc. Skills Proven bookkeeping experience – 3 years or more Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software Proficiency in English and in MS Office Customer service orientation and negotiation skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Candidates must pass PA Child Abuse Background Checks before being hired
