Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. In this role, you will support our accounting operations by managing critical bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining financial records. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with QuickBooks expertise and over three years of bookkeeping experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice collection and payment processing.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and assist with month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and record-keeping purposes.
  • Utilize QuickBooks to manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction tracking.
  • Support payroll processing and related financial activities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the controller to manage overflow accounting tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Provide assistance with year-end audits and financial reviews as needed.
  • Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making. Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience with a strong focus on detail.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Experience with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
