Job Summary:

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support a wide range of accounting and administrative functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, with responsibilities spanning accounts payable, reconciliations, tax support, and general departmental tasks. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a solid foundation in bookkeeping or accounting.

Essential Functions & Competencies:

In this position, you are expected to: Perform all Accounts Payable functions including but not limited to vendor management, vendor bill processing and payment issuing, 1099 issuing, company credit card reconciliation, employee expense reimbursement. Process customer credit card payments, review and post daily bank transactions, make check deposits. Work with outside collection agent and inside Rev Gen team on aging invoices. Act as sales tax administrator to manage tax exemptions, conduct monthly sales tax reconciliation. Assist in departmental organizational duties such as, but not limited to: filing, scanning, copying and data entry. Cross train with other members in the Accounting team and provide temporary back up support when needed.

You should have:

Associate Degree in Business or minimum 2 years experience in Bookkeeping functions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with individuals both inside and outside the organization. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Excel & Word with aptitude to learn new software and technologies. Experience with NetSuite, Expensify, and/or Avalara preferred. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to adhere to strict operational procedures. Ability to prioritize and organize own workload.
