Accounts Payable Associate Position Available In Charleston, South Carolina

Job Description:

DeLallo is seeking candidates for an Accounts Payable Associateposition. This position will provide support to our Accountingdepartment, performing responsibilities such as processinginvoices, and issuing payments. This position is full-time and 100%on site at our corporate office in Mount Pleasant, PA.

Deliverables:

Review all invoices for appropriate documentation andapproval prior to payment Process invoices according to paymentterms Process check requests Audit and process credit card billsMatch invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks anddistribute checks accordingly Respond to vendor inquiries Reconcilevendor statements, research and correct discrepancies Assist inmonth end closing Maintain files and documentation thoroughly andaccurately, in accordance with company policy

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred and/or 1-3 years previousaccounts payable or general accounting experience or equivalent(i.e., solid understanding of basic accounting principles)Demonstrate a high degree of customer service orientation andnegotiation skills High proficiency in

Microsoft Officeapplications:

PowerPoint, Excel, Word; demonstrate the ability tooperate accounting and spreadsheet programs Demonstrate stronganalytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills Demonstratehigh attention to detail with the ability to multi-task andfollow-through, as well as confidentiality Possess a strong senseof urgency and ability to meet deadlines and work well underpressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environmentDemonstrate clear, easy to understand, and professional written andoral communication skills Maintain confidential informationWillingness to update job knowledge by participating in educationalopportunities
