Accounts Payable Clerk Position Available In Charleston, South Carolina

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing high-volume invoicing processes for a non-profit organization. This role requires precision, efficiency, and familiarity with Sage Intacct software.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify high volumes of invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform coding and entry of invoices into the Sage Intacct system.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure financial records are balanced and accurate.
• Manage check runs and ensure timely payment to vendors.
• Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date accounts payable documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and resolve payment issues.
• Ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and procedures.
• Provide support for month-end close procedures related to accounts payable.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders to address inquiries. Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct software is required.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and analysis.
• Familiarity with coding invoices and check run processes.
• Experience with account reconciliations and invoice processing.
• Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
