Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations. This role is responsible for obtaining and maintaining accurate financial data, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Compile and sort financial documents such as invoices and checks. Verify and post business transactions including funds received and disbursed. Allocate and post details from various source documents (e.g., sales slips, receipts, invoices). Compute and record charges, refunds, and various costs (e.g., damaged goods, freight, rentals). Prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, and financial reports. Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts. Perform monthly bank and credit card statement reconciliations. Generate cash flow statements and cash projections. Assist with budget preparation and tracking. Create and submit monthly financial reports to management.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience (6 months to 1 year preferred). Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficient in data entry and accounting software. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Physical Requirements:
