Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Chester, South Carolina. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing essential accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily data entry tasks with precision and efficiency to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP), including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Oversee accounts receivable (AR) by preparing and reconciling customer invoices.
  • Assist in account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial statements.
  • Support billing operations by generating and reviewing invoices for accuracy.
  • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP to execute financial tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes. Requirements
  • Proven experience in accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.
  • Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
