Accounts Payable Specialist Position Available In Greenville, South Carolina

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing and reconciliation of vendor invoices while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities:

• Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy through a three-way match system.
• Prepare weekly payment proposals and manage cash requirements.
• Maintain vendor records by adding or updating information as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to secure timely approvals for invoices.
• Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and address any outstanding issues.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and provide resolution support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounts payable policies and procedures.
• Manage vendor relationships, fostering effective communication and support.
• Adhere to company safety standards and report any incidents or concerns promptly. Requirements
• Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate skills in Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, multi-branch environment.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
