Accounts Receivable Specialist Position Available In Greenville, South Carolina

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, managing high-value accounts and collaborating with a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be eager to take ownership of complex accounts and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and analyze aging accounts with balances of over 1 million, ensuring timely resolution and accurate reporting.
• Handle business-to-business accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve deductions or discrepancies, maintaining clear communication with clients to address issues.
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP, to monitor financial activities and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare detailed reports and summaries of accounts receivable activities for management review.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize AR processes and enhance efficiency.
• Apply intermediate Excel skills to perform data analysis, create reports, and streamline workflows.
• Support cash handling and posting activities, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and organization in all AR-related tasks. Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP.
• Strong understanding of business-to-business accounts receivable processes, including deductions management.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and financial tools to support AR functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned accounts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
