Accounts Receivable Specialist Position Available In Greenville, South Carolina

Description We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our construction team based in Greenville, South Carolina. The role provides you with the opportunity to manage a large number of customer accounts, collaborate with our sales and operations team to address any collection issues or discrepancies, with the support of the Accounts Receivable manager and team lead. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately invoice customers as per the assigned schedule
• Ensure efficient collection of customer accounts and generate customer statements
• Handle credit card payments processing in a timely manner
• Regularly reconcile customer accounts to maintain their accuracy
• Manage progress billing activities in line with the company’s policies
• Create refund packets as and when required
• Proactively participate in regional Accounts Receivable meetings to stay updated with the latest trends and policies
• Review contracts to understand the timing of revenue
• Carry out other tasks as directed by the management team
• Utilize various software systems such as Accounting Software Systems, ADP – Financial Services, CRM, Epic Software, and ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline accounting functions. Requirements
• Entry-level role; no prior experience required, though any experience in accounts receivable or a similar field would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary.
• Familiarity with ADP – Financial Services would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is expected.
• Experience with Epic Software is an added advantage.
• Understanding of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning software is desired.
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions efficiently.
• Experience or knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must.
• Capability to handle Billing Functions effectively.
• Familiarity with Cash Activity and Cash Handling is required.
