EAI is currently seeking to add to our accounting team with the addition of an Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this role, the individual will work closely with EAI team members managing the company’s account receivable process from start to finish. This position will report directly to the Controller.
Job Responsibilities:
Full Cycle Accounts Receivable:
Ownership of the AR process from start to finish including setting up new customers, invoicing materials, issue resolution, and collection and posting of payment.
Sales Tax:
Collecting Sales Tax Exemption forms from customers and maintaining our Sales Tax Software (Avalara). Collection of outstanding
Account Receivables:
Deposit payments received from customers. Includes bank runs 3x/week as well as credit card processing. Applying payments to open invoices in ERP system (QuickBooks). Running collection letters and phone calls to customers to collect on older AR balances.
Sales Order Entry and Invoice Generation:
Sales order entry and invoicing for system orders. Finalize and email Billable service ticket invoices. Processing and invoicing parts orders.
Support Invoices:
Tracking and ownership of our annual support billings. Monthly batch invoicing for support. Collection of support invoices.
Miscellaneous:
Back up to Accounts Payable Specialist. Email management and communication. Additional duties and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Accounts Receivable experience preferred but not required. Understanding of Sales Tax and Avalara, preferred but not required. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, preferred but not required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Ability to handle high volume, deadline driven workload. Attention to detail and data entry accuracy. Driver’s license and reliable vehicle will be required for post office and bank trips. Experience in a 100+ person company (preferably in a growth environment) would be beneficial. This position will be based out of our Welcome, MN location, with the opportunity for hybrid work after a training period or based on level of experience/knowledge. Generally, in-office work will be required for this position. Occasional travel between our three office locations will be required during the training period and during the course of employment. Mileage expenses to be reimbursed if employee is asked to occasionally travel to other locations.
Position status:
Full-time, with flexible hours between 35-40 hours per week.
Wage:
$23.00 – $28.00 per hour depending on experience + quarterly incentive if targets are met.
