Addison Group is hiring a Payment Poster for our client in the addictive disease space. This is a contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance.
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Poster to support our client’s revenue cycle team. The role is focused solely on posting insurance payments, working within financial systems to ensure accurate processing of payments. You would be working out of spreadsheets to post payments coming in from both commercial and government payors.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process deposits using spreadsheets.
Retrieve remittances from Waystar or payer portals and upload them into the system.
Work through assigned centers, ensuring payments are posted accurately.
Collaborate with team members and leadership to improve processes.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in payment posting within a healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently.
Open to feedback and adaptable to training.
