Position Summary:

The AR Specialistwill be responsible for managing the company’s incoming payments,accurately maintaining customer accounts, and assisting in theoverall accounting process. This is a key role supporting ouraccounting department and contributing to the financial health ofthe company.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue accurate customerinvoices based on project billing schedules and contracts Monitoraccounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on outstandingpayments Apply cash receipts, credit memos, and adjustmentsCommunicate with customers regarding billing inquiries anddiscrepancies Work closely with project managers and internal teamsto ensure billing accuracy Assist in month-end closing proceduresand reporting Maintain detailed and organized records of customerinteractions and transactions Support lien waiver preparation andrelease of lien processes when needed Assist with collectionsefforts in a professional and customer-focused manner Perform otherrelated accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:

2 years ofAccounts Receivable or general accounting experience (constructionindustry experience is a plus) Strong understanding of billingprocesses, including progress billing and retainage Excellentcommunication and customer service skills Ability to workindependently and collaboratively in a team environment
