The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and excellent analytical skills to assist in various accounting functions. Responsibilities Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Conduct general ledger reconciliation to maintain the integrity of financial statements. Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with established guidelines. Enter payables daily. Accounts receivables/payables experience. Support financial management activities, including budgeting and forecasting. Collaborate with team members on related accounting tasks. Ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records of debits and credits within the accounting system. Skills Proficient in account reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation techniques. Strong understanding of financial services and concepts related to financial management. Experience with account analysis and reporting for decision-making purposes. Familiarity with financial accounting principles, including debits and credits. Understanding of governmental accounting regulations is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the finance team.
