Bookkeeper Lowcountry Paver 535 Stiney Road, Hardeeville, SC 29927 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and corporate accounting practices. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Bookkeeper will work closely with other team members to support the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliation. Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliation and income statements. Experience in NetSuite a plus Ensure compliance with technical accounting standards and corporate policies. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for reporting purposes. Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and integrity of data. Support year-end closing processes and assist with external audits. Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within corporate accounting. Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles, including journal entries and general ledger management. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for financial report writing. Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation and maintain accurate records. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration across teams.
