Accounting Clerk 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Irmo, SC 29063 We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Irmo, South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for managing check writing, supporting invoicing processes, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. This position will require you to work onsite five days a week and offers the potential for conversion to a permanent placement.

Responsibilities:

Write and process checks in a timely and accurate manner. Support the invoicing process by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining records. Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks as needed. Utilize QuickBooks to maintain financial data and generate reports. Perform data entry to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. Reconcile financial discrepancies and assist in maintaining general accounting records. Create and analyze spreadsheets using advanced Microsoft Excel functions. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations. Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting. Proficiency in QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Pro and QuickBooks Enterprise. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions. Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. Ability to handle invoicing and check-writing tasks with precision. Excellent organizational and data entry skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
