Bookkeeper Southeastern Insurance Consultants, LLC Irmo, SC 29063 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to assist our current Full-Time Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, data entry and assisting where needed in our Bookkeeping Department. This role requires proficiency in Desktop Quickbooks and strong analytical skills to ensure the financial health of the organization. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Duties Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review as needed Utilize accounting software, Desktop Quickbooks to manage financial transactions efficiently Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts Support public accounting efforts by preparing necessary documentation for audits Qualifications Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within accounting Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Desktop Quickbooks is preferred Familiarity with account analysis techniques and financial report writing Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines A degree in Accounting or a related field is a plus but not required Join our team as a Bookkeeper where your expertise will contribute significantly to our financial operations.
