Fiscal Technician II State of South Carolina – 2.9 Columbia, SC Job Details Full-time $40,000 – $45,531 a year 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Bachelor’s degree Accounting 2 years Entry level Full Job Description JOB Responsible for the billing and follow up to include contacting vendors of college sponsorship accounts. Works with college staff with problem resolutions and any questions concerning billings. Works with the Bookstore involving sponsorship accounts. Works with management on account updates, payment or problem resolutions. Review daily check log and EFT log to identify payments and provide GL or sponsor account number for proper posting. Ensure accurate payment has been received and credited to appropriate account. Verify sponsor billing invoices with incoming payments, identifying and following up on any discrepancies. Scan, file and retrieve files in the electronic filing system for all information handled in the Accounts Receivable Department. Review scanned information for accuracy. Prepare information as requested by college staff and auditors. Coordinates in the processing of any accounts to be turned over to the Department of Revenue. Serve as backup for transmitting (posting) and disbursing aid to student accounts.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES A
