What Are We Looking For? Novant Health Urgent Cares is currently looking for a payment posting specialist to join our billing team. Under the direction of the supervisor, the payment posting specialist ensures all payments are correctly entered against accounts, charges are transferred to patient responsibility as appropriate, balances daily activities, records and reports are maintained, and errors in payments and/or apparent aberrations are identified for research and resolution. Do You Have What It Takes? A good candidate will bring with them: High School diploma or equivalency Able to work 10-hour days the last week of each month, including Saturday if necessary, to complete month end processing Ability to enter $40,000 of charges daily Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct. An ideal candidate would also have: 1-2 years previous billing/customer service experience What Do We Offer?
