Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Duncan, South Carolina. This position offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals to build their career in accounting within the metal fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and reconcile invoices against purchase orders or vouchers to ensure accuracy.
• Perform accurate and efficient data entry for financial records and transactions.
• Assist in processing accounts payable by reviewing and preparing payments.
• Support accounts receivable operations by managing invoices and collections.
• Maintain organized records of financial documents for easy access and reference.
• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Adhere to company policies and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed. Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Solid interpersonal skills to communicate with team members and vendors.
• Basic knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
