Role Overview:

The Accounts Payable Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of our front office while supporting key financial functions. As the first point of contact for the company, you’ll handle essential administrative tasks, manage incoming and outgoing communications, and ensure that vendor invoices are processed promptly and accurately. Additionally, you’ll collaborate closely with other members of the Finance team and assist with various office management duties. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities will be key to your success in this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the front office’s first point of contact by answering, screening, and forwarding calls while delivering exceptional customer support Oversee daily clerical operations, including managing incoming and outgoing mail and handling office deliveries Accurately process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and documentation for timely payments Print paper checks for reimbursements such as mileage and vehicle allowances. Skills and Qualifications:

Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively Clear and professional communication skills via phone and email Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) Outstanding customer service abilities

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required 1-2 years of experience in an office setting, with a focus on operations and/or accounting functions
