Ear, Nose, Throat and Audiology Associates of the Carolinas is a well-established specialty practice with three locations in North and South Carolina. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a positive attitude to join the billing department at our Rock Hill, SC location. The Billing Coordinator’s responsibilities include: Accounts Receivables – 30, 60, 90, 120, 120+ follow up and collection Daily posting of clinical and surgical charges with auditing of proper codes and modifiers Daily submission of claims to insurance electronically and by paper to secondary Swift follow up and tracking of unpaid claims Patient and insurance accounts receivable status and follow-up Timely submission of appeals for unpaid claims Insurance and patient payment posting Insurance verification / pre-authorization Referral management Communication with patients regarding unpaid balances Distribution of patient statements Presentation of monthly A/R and financial reporting Willingness to help with front office support when needed If you have 3+ years’ medical billing experience and are looking for a new opportunity with a growing practice, please apply!
