POSITION PURPOSE

To provide administrative, clerical and bookkeeping support. To be the face of the department and first point of contact in answering calls, greeting employees and handling questions or requests.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Associate’s degree or 2 years of related work experience in accounting. Four years of work experience in a related field can be used as a substitute for degree.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Be the first point of contact in greeting visitors, staff and employees Performs miscellaneous receipting function and works with the Trustee’s Office Assists the Director in typing agendas and minutes for the Budget Committee, enters budget amendments and journal entries Directs inquiries and complaints to ensure quick resolution Assists the department with filing, faxing, e-mails, data entry and other administrative tasks Maintain a clean professional office space Other duties as assigned

REPORTING STRUCTURE AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

This role reports to the position of Finance Department Director and or Chief Deputy.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employee will work in an office environment and will occasionally work evenings as needed. Will also require occasional business travel. Required to lift up to 25lbs.
