Job Description
Accounts Receivable AW Collision Nashville, TN 37209 AW Collision is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to handle a broad range of AR and clerical duties within a busy collision repair shop environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in accounts receivable functions, preferably in an auto body or collision repair setting. We need a detail-oriented, reliable, and organized professional who can manage multiple tasks and ensure accurate and timely billing and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Post daily credit card and cash payments to customer accounts Transfer credit card payments from the management system to the accounting system Post EFT payments and emailed scanned checks from all locations Record incoming checks from all shops into the AR system Communicate regularly with shop locations to resolve AR issues Generate and email weekly AR reports to supervisors for review Handle dealer billing and work on dealer statements for all shops monthly Follow up on chargebacks and work with customers and Insurance companies to obtain replacement payments when applicable
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in Accounts Receivable within a collision repair or auto body shop environment Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Strong proficiency with computer systems and web-based software Comfortable with basic math, calculations, and financial documentation QuickBooks experience is preferred Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team How to
