Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to the financial operations of the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing receivables, billing, and cash-related activities.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee billing functions, including the preparation and distribution of invoices.
- Monitor and reconcile cash activity, including payments, deposits, and account adjustments.
- Utilize accounting software systems and ERP tools to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify and resolve discrepancies in receivables and cash handling.
- Generate detailed reports on accounts receivable status and provide updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations during all transactions.
- Support the implementation and optimization of CRM and ERP systems for financial operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve outstanding issues.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and other financial reporting tasks as needed. Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or related accounting functions.
- Proficiency with accounting software systems and ERP platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and their integration into financial workflows.
- Strong understanding of billing functions and cash handling processes.
- Ability to work with tools such as Epic Software and ADP Financial Services.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing financial records.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and external clients.
- Knowledge of financial compliance and regulations applicable to accounts receivable processes.
