We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely and precise processing of transactions, and upholding the confidentiality of all financial data. This position plays a vital role in supporting our organization’s financial health and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Basic math skills and attention to detail Ability to be bonded Key Responsibilities (not all-inclusive): Record financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles Invoice customers and process payments Reconcile account balances and financial statements Maintain and process general ledger accounts, including revenue and expense tracking Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable functions Utilize accounting software systems to input, manage, and retrieve financial data Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and sensitive information
Skills & Experience:
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices Experience using accounting software systems Proficiency in reconciling financial records and accounts Organizational and analytical skills High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information This is a M-F position 8a-5p $18/hr location: Greeneville, TN
