Accounting Clerk Position Available In Hamilton, Tennessee

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is an immediate role contract to permanent role, you will play a key role in managing accounts payable processes and ensuring accurate financial documentation for our non-profit organization. Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain organized records of receipts and financial documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Assist in prioritizing daily accounting tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
• Perform weekly file management and disposal tasks to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
• Enter financial data accurately into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in billing or payments.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to compile and analyze financial data.
• Support the preparation of invoices and other billing-related tasks.

• Proven experience in accounts payable and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle numerical data with accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing documentation and tasks.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing workloads.
• Familiarity with billing processes and financial data entry.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members.
• Previous experience in a non-profit environment is a plus but not required.
