Description We are searching for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) processes. The Accounting Clerk will play a key role in managing financial data, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our accounting operations by working within client portals and completing critical ad hoc tasks. A strong proficiency in Excel is also needed. •Please note this is an onsite role in Chattanooga, Tennessee•

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform transaction cleanup tasks, ensuring records are accurate, current, and compliant. + Operate effectively within various client portals, including downloading, updating, and managing financial data. + Process and reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, ensuring proper coding and reporting. + Assist with tasks related to the general ledger (GL), including downloading information and performing audits for completeness and accuracy. + Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, review the data for accuracy and generate reports, as needed, for submission to customers. + Build and analyze PivotTables in Excel to present clear, concise data insights and summaries. + Separate, segment, and analyze large datasets, ensuring data integrity and usability. + Support ad hoc reporting needs, providing timely insights and solutions based on available data. + Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and enhance overall accounting efficiency. Requirements Qualifications:
