Job Description
AR Lead 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 4921 Highway 58, Chattanooga, TN 37416 Generate and distribute monthly invoices to customers by the deadline. Produce monthly AR reports and answer questions as needed. Post payments daily to customer accounts using our Epicor accounting software and resolve any account credit discrepancies. Communicate with customers on invoices, account requests/questions, and collections efforts. Administer the credit application, credit limit, and customer portal processes. Lead associates who assist in AR processes. Provide clear direction and guidance to meet deadlines. Develop associate skills in AR competencies. Associates degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred. Relevant work experience may substitute for education. 3+ years’ experience in accounts receivables including collections. Understand basic accounting principles. Make a professional impression using effective verbal and written communication. Demonstrate helpfulness at all times. Self-starter and independent individual who effectively prioritizes business needs with little need for assistance. Very organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and relevant accounting software. Epicor/Eagle experience is a plus.
