Accounts Receivable Clerk 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars 1080 Highway 49, Erin, TN 37061 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing, and maintaining financial records. This role requires proficiency in accounting software, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of revenue cycle management. Responsibilities Process incoming payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts. Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner. Perform journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. Analyze accounts receivable data to identify discrepancies or issues. Manage customer accounts, including following up on outstanding balances. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage for daily operations. Maintain accurate records of debits and credits related to customer transactions. Assist in revenue cycle management by ensuring that all billing processes are followed correctly. Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable. Qualifications Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Sage. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data effectively. Experience with journal entries, debits, and credits in an accounting context. Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes is preferred. Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
