Description Robert Half is hiring a contractor for our mission-driven nonprofit organization located in West Knoxville. The organization is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the community, who relies on efficient financial operations to support programs and initiatives. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable part-time bookkeeper to join our client’s team and help manage the financial processes effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

As the part-time bookkeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Your primary duties include:

Bookkeeping Duties:

Manage day-to-day financial transactions. Record and reconcile financial data in ACS Cloud-Based Accounting Software. Process, record, and oversee donations and e-giving platforms.

Payroll Management:

Prepare, set up, and process bi-weekly payroll for employees, including hourly, salaried, and event-services staff. Utilize Inovah Payroll Software to ensure accuracy for all payroll functions.

Accounts Payable/Receivable:

Process and record checks and donations. Print checks for accounts payable as required.

Financial Reporting:

Generate monthly financial statements and ensure all records are up-to-date for internal and external review.

Administrative Support:

Act as a backup to the administrator in preparing weekly bulletins when needed.

Qualifications:

Experience with bookkeeping, financial administration, and payroll setup. Proficiency in using accounting software, specifically ACS Cloud-Based Accounting Software. Previous experience with Inovah Payroll Software or similar platforms is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills. Experience in nonprofit accounting is a plus. • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar position
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation
• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proven skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Must be adept at Bank Reconciliations
• Proficiency in general Bookkeeping tasks
• Must have experience in Data Entry
• Experience in Payroll management is required
• Familiarity with Inovah software is desirable
• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements
