Our mission is to empower young individuals to overcome challenges and thrive in their lives. Summary We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team at Thrive At-Risk Youth Ministry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting our mission through effective financial management. This position is vital to our operations as it helps us allocate resources efficiently to serve our community. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP standards. Perform account reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data. Manage accounts receivable and monitor outstanding invoices. Prepare financial reports and assist in budget preparation. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Support tax preparation processes by providing necessary documentation. Assist with governmental accounting requirements as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles. Proficiency in account reconciliation and general ledger accounting. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines. Familiarity with tax regulations is a plus.
