Job Description Job Description Project Accounting Assistant, Knoxville, TN This is currently a part time role for 30 hours per week with growth potential to 40 hours. Creative Structures, Inc. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Accounting Assistant. This role will serve as a vital link between our project management and accounting departments, ensuring efficient workflow by handling a mix of administrative tasks and accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

Provide support to Project Manager by processing awarded subcontracts and change orders across several scopes of work throughout the entirety of each project. Direct communication with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance requirements are met and maintained. Assist subcontractors with billing procedures. Maintain project contract files. Data-entry of job-related invoices. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed. Assist with reporting tasks as required. Support other accounting projects as needed.

Skills needed:

Understanding of basic accounting procedures. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Maintain a professional demeanor and contribute to a respectful and focused work environment.
