SENIOR ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE AND BILLING SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

Within the Non-CBO Contract Revenue Department, this position is responsible for Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR) research and resolution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Complete Billing and AR audits
  • Timely and accurate invoice generation and distribution and possible collections
  • Resolve discrepancies between invoices and appropriate accounting supporting records
  • Research client related inquiries and issues as needed. Provide backup, or credit facilities due to billing issues
  • Ensure the client mailboxes are up to date and s resolved in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with multiple business units to ensure accuracy of the billing and work with the regions on issues as they arise; make rmendations as needed.
  • Assist with month end close duties
  • Work directly with the Billing and AR Team Leads on any and all reconciling items
  • Review refunds and write-offs prior to being sent to Lead, Accounts Receivable
  • Assist with maintenance of the contract list, AR Master list & AR Worklist
  • Assist with team member training and questions
  • Assist with maintaining existing SOP’s and creation of new SOP’s as needed
  • Evaluate and rmend solutions for continuous process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years Billing and AR related experience
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office with high proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables and VLookups
  • Experience in Lawson software is a plus, specifically Lawson AR), (BR), and (AC) modules
  • Strong analytical,munication, and research skills
  • Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Excellent time management skills toplete multiple tasks and meet stringent deadlines
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently of immediate and direct supervision
