EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Essential Functions:

Works directly with citizens or customers either in person, over the phone, or other communicationchannels.

Reviews data to ensure proper entries and payments.

Works with a variety of software including, but not limited to, billing or cash receipt software and financialsoftware.

Works in a variety of accounting processes including, but not limited to, accounts payable, petty cash, andaccounts receivable.

Assists with the city’s daily cash balancing processes by performing daily cash drawer balance processesand confirming receipts against applicable software systems.

Provides customer service to internal and external customers by answering questions, researchinginformation, and handling a variety of issues.

Actively listens to understand and meet customer needs.

Works with other departments and government agencies and follows State code and policies as required.

Performs other work as assigned.

Physical Demands:

Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis and sustained keyboard operations.
