We have an opportunity for an AP/AR Specialist to join our Accounting team. Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hybrid role with work from home flexibility following training period.
Incumbent responsibilities will focus on:
Accounts Payable Entire A/P process from receipt of invoice through payment, ensuring timely and accurate posting to the General Ledger. Accounts Receivable Invoicing and posting of all customer receipts in a timely manner; communicates often with customers ensuring timely payments. Review, code, and enter all supplier/vendor invoices for payment. Resolve PO/invoice discrepancies when appropriate. Approves and enters corporate procurement card purchases and processes employee expenses. Posts all incoming cash receipts including ACH, lockbox, credit card and checks and disburses incoming mail. Establishes payment terms for new customers (perform credit checks). Actively work aged receivables. Support the Accounting Department with miscellaneous projects. Participate on team calls and meetings in the office and via web camera. Ability to work overtime as requested. Display a desire for continued professional development. React positively to change and Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Three (3) years work-related experience and/or equivalent education, training, and experience; prior experience in manufacturing or distribution environment required. Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite; ERP experience desired. Demonstrate effective problem solving, team and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and quality of work required.
