Bookkeeper Select Ponds 2253 Boyds Creek Highway, Sevierville, TN 37876 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our financial activities and will involve working closely with various departments to support budgeting and financial reporting. Duties Prepare and maintain journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. Manage corporate accounting tasks, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. Perform payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees. Utilize Quicken for tracking expenses and managing budgets effectively. Conduct budgeting activities to assist in financial planning and forecasting. Apply double entry bookkeeping principles to maintain accurate records. Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and transaction processing. Collaborate with management to understand financial concepts and provide insights on financial performance. Experience Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred. Familiarity with corporate accounting practices and financial regulations. Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly Quicken, is a plus. Strong understanding of budgeting processes and financial concepts. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
