Position Summary:

The Accounting Assistant will support the Accounting function in overall goals and objectives of the team. Key Results Areas (KRAs): Assemble documentation for patient and insurance refunds Assist in the preparation of import files for patient and insurance refunds Ensure the timely mailing of refund payments Accurately prepare assigned General Ledger account reconciliations Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and records Provide administrative support to the Accounting team as needed Core Competencies Effective interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task Exhibited ability to navigate through ambiguity and provide a structured problem-solving approach Proven ability to work effectively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment Committed to supporting UCH’s standard of medical excellence

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent Required At least 2 years of Accounting-related coursework at college level
