Accounts Payable Clerk Position Available In Shelby, Tennessee

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a long-term contract position that requires a highly organized individual with a strong background in accounts payable processes and data entry. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of invoice management and payment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of invoices, approximately 500 per week, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to ensure compliance.
• Enter data efficiently into accounting systems.
• Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and address payment issues.
• Utilize 10-key accounting skills for accurate and efficient data entry.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while managing invoice workflows.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices in alignment with organizational goals. Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Proficiency in Oracle, Fusion or Lawson accounting software is preferred.
• Strong 10-key accounting skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience working within the healthcare industry is a plus.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to process large volumes of invoices with accuracy.
• Familiarity with three-way matching processes.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
