Brimhall Foods Co., Inc., a family-owned snack foods manufacturing company commonly referred to as “Brim’s Snack Foods” by locals, is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for accurately processing and recording incoming payments, resolving payment discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with established accounting procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer service mindset, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting internal and external communications regarding accounts receivable activity.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply customer payments to accounts and process daily deposits Research and resolve payment discrepancies and returned checks Perform account collections and process credits Prepare regular accounting reports and monitor ACH transfers Communicate with customers and internal sales staff regarding payments Enter purchase orders and perform related clerical tasks

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required 2-3 years of experience in a financial or accounting role Knowledge of GAAP and experience with payment processing Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills Be a part of a team committed to accuracy, service, and operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
