Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will oversee essential financial tasks and ensure accurate management of invoices, payroll, and reconciliations. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage client invoices, ensuring timely billing and accurate records.
- Track and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain financial accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for client-facing employees to optimize workflow.
- Welcome clients at the front desk, providing a courteous and friendly first impression.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial statements are balanced and accurate.
- Handle payroll processing, ensuring compliance and timely payment to employees.
- Conduct month-end close procedures, including reviewing and adjusting financial entries.
- Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to maintain organized financial records.
- Input and manage data with precision to support bookkeeping and reporting needs.
- Assist with general office management duties to support smooth daily operations. Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for accounting and data management.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
- Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with billing processes and maintaining invoice records.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
