Full Charge Bookkeeper Position Available In Shelby, Tennessee

Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations, including payroll processing and detailed job costing. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the company’s growth while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll with precision and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage job costing and project tracking, with a preference for candidates familiar with the construction industry.
• Assist in implementing new systems and optimizing financial workflows.
• Create and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets to support financial processes until new software is introduced.
• Collaborate with leadership to support potential HR-related functions, including onboarding and orientation, as the company expands. Requirements
• Extensive experience in payroll processing and full-charge bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise; experience with HRIS or payroll systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and implement process improvements.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative, approachable demeanor.
