Accounts Payable Specialist Prodigy Enterprises LLC 71 Preston Circle, Brighton, TN 38011 Overview We are seeking an extremely detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and receipts, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze financial data effectively. Responsibilities Process and manage all accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Review, verify, and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and contracts. Prepare payment batches for approval and ensure timely payments to vendors. Maintain vendor records, including tax information and payment terms. Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Must have experience in financial software such as QuickBooks. Must be competent in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for transaction management. Conduct analysis of accounts payable data to identify trends or issues that require attention. Skills Proficient in financial software applications (QuickBooks) and HRIS systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively. Familiarity with benefits administration and tax regulations related to accounts payable. Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry. Experience with Jobber or similar timekeeping systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining independence in task execution.
