Hoogland Restaurant Group (largest franchisee of Marco’s Pizza with 115+ locations) Legacy Commercial Property (over 700 properties in our portfolio) Highland Pure Water & Ice (over 70 locations in 10+ states) Intune Physical Therapy (currently being built from the ground up) Role Summary We are seeking a diligent and adaptable Accounting Clerk to contribute to our payment and receivable operations and support our accounting department with basic tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is interested in expanding their accounting expertise while contributing to our office’s overall efficiency. Essential Functions Verify, code, process, and pay invoices using AvidXchange and Sage Intacct. Handle the full cycle of accounts payable activities including ensuring timely payments of invoices, maintaining accurate records and control reports. Manage vendor relations and reconcile vendor statements. Cash application of tenant payments. Assist in month-end closing procedures and support the accounting team with journal entries and general ledger maintenance. Prepare analysis of accounts and bank reconciliations, as needed. Assist with audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Offer administrative support to other departments, such as data entry, file management, and other ad hoc tasks. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information. Flexibility and willingness to learn Technologically savvy Position type and expected hours of work This is a full-time, on-site position located in our Brentwood, TN headquartered office. Work days are Monday through Friday, typically 9am to 6pm.
