We are seeking detail-oriented and highly organized individuals to join our Offshore Customs Processing Center team. The person in this role will support and prepare documentation to ensure efficient and compliant customs processing. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of international shipments by supporting the customs clearance process through documentation review and data preparation.

salary:

$18 – $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM – 5 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Documentation Review shipping documentation for express parcels and small packages, including commercial invoices and shipping labels
Validate accuracy of shipper/consignee information, product descriptions, and declared values on air waybills
Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies by coordinating with express stations and customers
Process a high volume of shipments with precision and attention to detail
Customs Compliance Recommend and verify appropriate Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes for a wide range of consumer and business products
Identify shipments requiring specialized permits and route them through appropriate handling channels
Systems Management Accurately enter shipment data into internal proprietary systems
Prepare electronic documentation for review by licensed customs brokers using package tracking and customs systems Skills
