We have the following position available in our Huntsville office: Intermediate Program Control Analyst 25-041 Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Program Control Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience. This role will serve as a bridge between the finance department and Program Managers to develop, maintain, and track spending for labor, travel, and materials. The Program Control Analyst will work with several program managers at any given time and will need to be able to multi-task, organize, and communicate well in a face-paced work environment.

Duties Include:

Provide contract and financial analysis through monitoring and evaluating actual and projected costs (labor and non-labor) compared to the program budget and plans. Work closely with program manager(s) to track and communicate budgetary information about specific efforts. Develop, maintain, and report financial metrics to program managers, corporate executives, and customers as required. Investigate, analyze, and anticipate cost variances. Support proposals as well as project setup, execution, and closing. Resolve issues related to labor reporting, direct and indirect cost accumulation, revenue recognition, etc. Reconcile and track obligations, expenditures, and contract funding levels, including travel and other direct costs Collaborate with finance and executive teams in analyzing financial and budgetary information. Assign workforce and labor codes in time keeping system. Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

Candidate must have a minimum of a BS or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Contracts, or related field or 5 years of applicable experience. Strong financial background and organizational and analytical skills to prepare and interpret financial reports and documents. Ability to communicate effectively with program managers, engineers, customers, and business professionals. Knowledgeable in government contracts including, but not limited to, Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, etc. Knowledge and experience with computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software with advanced skills in Excel. Ability to be versatile and work independently, while achieving results. Experienced in populating spend plans and presenting to a Program Management/Support team. Positive attitude and desire to add value in a teamwork environment. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with some or all, of the following: Proficient with JAMIS Prime ERP is a plus. +Requires ability to: Obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Work well in a small, fast-paced and mission-driven environment with co-workers, management, and clients. Demonstrate innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills and adaptive thinking. Work Environment Office, Lab, and field environment. This position is expected to be performed only in the state of Alabama.
