Senior Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Policy Analyst to support professional-level accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting for a government agency. This is a high-impact position requiring strong technical knowledge of governmental and GAAP-based financial principles.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage specialized accounting records Analyze large volumes of financial data Interpret financial regulations and statutes Prepare GAAP financial statements and reports Ensure compliance with GASB and FASB standards Work with General Ledger systems including QuickBooks, CYMA, and FLAIR Create, update, and manage detailed desk procedures

Required Qualifications:

CPA license or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Mandatory) 10+ years of experience with FASB and GASB 10+ years in financial statements preparation Experience in financial and compliance audits Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access Experience with General Ledger systems
