Job Description Compiles and reviews budgets for corporate or organizational units using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration. Prepares financial plans, monitors implementation of financial policies, prepares regular and special-purpose reports, maintains historical records, analyzes trends, establishes cost rates and personnel forecasts, recommends and interprets budgetary policies and procedures, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget. Prepares forecasting and cost analysis of capital and overhead profiles, assisting in the development and preparation of facility AOP and LRSP data, reviewing, documenting and processing of asset capitalization. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Finance related areas and 3 years of experience in a related field or 11 years of progressive, professional experience in lieu of degree. Preferred Qualifications Seeking an individual with a background, Finance and/or EVMS to support Ships Logisitics Manager. Must be able to analyze and interpret data. Familiarity with EVMS principles. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite.
