Job Summary
Management of project financial and approval process from budget submittal to projectpletion allowing project managers to focus on managing construction process. Coordinate the annual Capital Budget Requests process with senior staff, campuses, THEC, and State Budget Office.
Job Duties
30%
- Research/analyze related material and prepare presentations and speak/present on behalf of TBR and LGI’s as appropriate at the
SBC, THEC
& F&A, etc. Coordinate with TBR institutions and project managers to ensure project budget submittals are financially accurate and submitted appropriately Create project workflow scle to guide institutions through submittal process Track budget approvals and confirm projects remain in budget and on scle Maintain working kledge of all projects to provide updates as needed

25% - Maintain working kledge of THEC guidelines and provide guidance to TBR team of changes Review/research regs/laws/policies, etc., and make rmendations for any needed revisions Make rmendations for related processes Conduct research as needed regarding Law & Policy Analysis

Minimum Qualifications
B/S in finance or equivalentbination ofcation and experience or B/S in a related field
Ten years of qualifying professional experience in stateernment to include: interpreting and executing policies and prores
Key kledge of the Tennessee Budget Entry, Analysis, and ing System
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Graduation from the Tennessee Government Management Institute
Kledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Adobe Acrobat, file management, and internet browser software
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
