$60-70/hr Position Overview We are currently seeking aTemporary Controller for our administrative office. The Controllerwill provide day-to-day management of the finance, accounting,purchasing, and revenue functions and their teams. This positionassists our multi-site healthcare operation, works with the CFO onbudgets, grants, and other projects while supervising accounting,billing, and payroll departments. Financial OperationsResponsibilities Supervise all financial functions, includingaccounting, payroll, revenue analysis, accounts receivable,accounts payable, budgets, fixed assets, cash management, financialplanning, banking relationships, purchasing, investments, andrequired reporting Coordinate the development of operating,foundation, capital, and grant budgets Ensure timely preparation ofmonthly financial and operational reports including Income andExpense, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Analysis, and Departmental ExpenseReports Prepare analyses of regular monthly reports focusing onvariance analysis, projections, recommendations for correction, andsolutions to prevent recurrence Guide documentation of financialactivities and preparation of annual audits by independent AuditorDocument business and financial plans for funding agencies Assistthe CFO in financial modeling and development of project plans fornew grants, sites, and initiatives Coordinate budgets for all newventures and future programs Control Cash Management includingProjections, follow up on AIR Collections and Cash DisbursementsManagement Responsibilities Manage direct reports and their teamseffectively Foster a sense of team and community through adaptableand flexible leadership Delegate responsibilities fairly andequitably Provide day-to-day management of monthly deliverablesDeliver continuous developmental feedback to staff including annualperformance evaluations Work closely with the CFO to establish,implement, and monitor annual benchmarks aligned withorganizational vision and business goals Oversee training anddevelopment of staff to improve quality and efficient workpractices Direct and manage financial department personnelincluding goal setting, development, progress reviews, andremuneration Meet ongoing deadlines consistently
QualificationsEducation :
Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred;Bachelor’s degree required
Certifications :
CPA would be a plus
Experience :
8-10 years in finance, accounting, and related fieldsleadership experience Financial modeling and budgeting experienceHealthcare finance knowledge preferred
Skills :
Strong coaching andmentoring abilities Exceptional financial analysis andproblem-solving skills Good understanding of financial systems;proficiency with various financial reporting tools Proficiency withMS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access) Ability towork in a fast-paced, high accountability healthcare environmentOutcome-focused approach with understanding of organizationalrequirements
